 why do you work with PROSECUS?

Because Prosecus combines a lot of dirrentent capabilities that one product manager cannot combine within himself... and because an internal solution costs more.
 
 is PROSECUS really less expensive than internal resources?

Oh yes! We only pay actual work that has been delivered. Internally, an hour costs 70 to 90 francs. But this rate assumes a stady use of work capacity. In marketing however, workload fluctuates. We pay Prosecus 110.- francs but as I said: only when needed.
 
 what can PROSECUS contribute as an external company?

Only a few tasks like product range management, pricing and market positioning are internal core competencies. 80% of the time is used for peripheral marketing, and this is where Prosecus can contribute a great deal.
 
 for example?

Contents of websites, brochures, catalogues, data sheets, trade show booths, inserts, press communications, company presentations. All important, but peripheral tasks.
 
 but for this, there are many underutilized agencies!

Wrong. I said content. Which agency delivers content - and I mean content, not meaningless chatter! An agency only delivers the vessel - the content you have to work out yourself... except when you work with Prosecus.
 
 and PROSECUS really delivers relevant content?

Certainly - because they employ product managers. Not graphic artists or text writers, but instead people with a good scientific education who are able to understand products, markets and business processes. That's why Prosecus can deliver content. And that's special!
 
 So, agencies are made obsolete by the services of PROSECUS?

Not at all. There is still a need for peolpe who design, invent sayings, program websites and lay out texts.
 
 you mean there is a triangle: customer - prosecus - agency?

No triangle - that would not be optimal. Best is when the customer works only with Prosecus. That's because Prosecus has a network of agencies that are involved only when needed. For customers like us, everything becomes easier, because we only have to talk with Prosecus.
 
 why should it be better to introduce a middleman between the customer and the agency?

Often, agencies can't understand complex products. That leads to a lot of unproductive time. The communication between customer and agency often needs more time, money and patience than the actual implementation.
 
 what can PROSECUS product managers do that internal product managers cannot ?

Prosecus has special competencies in internet marketing which you can find internally in very few companies.
 
 doesn't everybody say that nowadays?

Example: Each page has to be optimized so that the most important key words achieve relevance in search engines. Prosecus achieves very good Google-rankings - can everybody do that?
 
 what would you recommend to PROSECUS for the future?

As a satisfied customer, I say: continue the good work. However, I sometimes wonder whether the rates are too low - but don't tell anybody, okay?
